About the Role

As a Junior Tracer, you’ll focus on discovering and tracing new platforms (such as crypto exchanges, gambling sites, instant exchanges, or darknet markets). The “junior” title reflects that you are new to the team, not that you will be trained from zero.

We expect you to bring baseline skills and grow into supporting automation, workflow optimisation and more efficient discovery processes as you progress.

Responsibilities

• Discover new platforms in areas such as gambling, mixers, instant exchanges and darknet markets.
• Trace and add entities into internal systems following clear procedures (SOPs).
• Assist and collaborate with category owners with their discovery workload and streamline discovery workflows.
• Support client requests when assigned.
• Maintain clean, accurate records and metadata.
• Propose improvements in documentation, SOPs or repetitive tasks to reduce manual workload.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to share updates and feedback.

Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency platforms (exchanges, wallets, payment services) is required.
• Strong online research skills (finding and verifying information).
• Reliable documentation habits and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working across multiple categories.
• Willingness to learn and eventually take responsibility for a specific category (e.g., gambling or mixers).
• Interest in tools, automation, or workflow optimisation (a tech-curious mindset is helpful).
• Ability to recognise patterns and think about how to make processes more efficient.
